My first impression was that survivalcraft was better as someone who never played these types of games before and this is the game i am currently playing but as I play i find myself wanting something with more purpose and more exploration which I think minecraft might offer better.Survivalcraft 2 – this application is an adventure game that combines in itself features of indie project and it is a powerful competitor for legendary Minecraft, as it has not only similar mechanics, but also some unique features, as special atmosphere and pre-story. Survivalcraft looks better, Has a better movement control system and is a little more simplistic and therefore easier to get into for a newbie to the genre.
Overall, It seems likeMinecraft has more of a game behind it with an easier crafting system, Better world generation, And more things to do (including multiplayer). I found myself constantly accidentally hitting the jump button in minecraft and also found it nearly impossible to jump in a movement direction due to the fact i had to lift my thumb from a movement button in order to press the jump button which was really annoying.

In minecraft the left pad is buttons with a jump button in the middle whereas in survivalcraft it is just a free movement area where you drag your thumb in the direction of movement and jump on the right hand side. The movement controls in both games are similar with one very big difference for me. Having to craft some tools constantly because they break through use made it easy to eventually memorize tool shapes in survivalcraft and there is an easily accessible recipe guide in game. I found that it was much easier to craft new things in minecraft because i didn't have to constantly refer to the recipe guide and minecraft automatically suggests things to make with the resources at hand.

The crafting system in survivalcraft is based on shapes which i gather is like minecraft on PC and other platforms where as minecraft on mobile simply requires the user to have enough resources. The survivalcraft worlds seemed to be much more spread out with you having to walk a much longer distance to find a new biome or different resource type. I think that minecraft has much better random worlds with the terrain varying much faster and the cave system much more interesting.
